About Chad Barker.
Dr. Barker holds board certification in Diagnostic Radiology and completed fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology. He began clinical practice in 2013. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Liberal Arts from the University of Florida with a Chemistry concentration. He spent five years conducting Biochemistry research at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, resulting in published work on parasitology topics.
He earned his Medical Degree from UAB, completed a General Surgery Internship and Radiology Residency at the University of California San Diego, and finished with a Musculoskeletal Fellowship at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.
From 2013 through 2024, he worked as a hospital-based radiologist. Most recently, he served as partner radiologist and Chief of Radiology at Frederica Imaging P.C. His clinical responsibilities encompassed interpretation of MRI, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, mammography, and PET imaging.
