The Expert Witness Process Explained
What happens when you engage an Expert Radiology physician as an expert witness? This video covers the full lifecycle from case review to testimony.
Engaging a radiology expert witness is a critical step in many injury and medical malpractice cases. At Expert Radiology, our expert witness service is structured to provide attorneys with clear imaging opinions tied to the record, credentials, and appropriate confidence language.
The process begins with a case review. The attorney provides all relevant imaging studies, medical records, and case context. Our assigned subspecialist reviews everything thoroughly before rendering an opinion — we never rush to a conclusion.
If the case proceeds, our expert prepares a detailed written report and is available for deposition and trial testimony. Our physicians are experienced in the courtroom environment and are trained to communicate complex radiological concepts in terms that judges and juries can readily understand.
